I don’t think I’ve ever really talked or written about my issues with Nephrogenic Diabetes Insipidus (DI) it’s not something that exactly comes up in conversation (as my cancer sometimes does)

The most basic description of the disease is that my body does not produce Vasopressin

That ladies and gents is Vasopressin.

My body…doesn’t make it. At all.

What does that mean? It means I don’t hold water…at all.

and I experience extreme thirst (especially for cold water and sometimes ice or ice water) Like right now I would kill for ice chips.
